        A very musical offering by
this young German trio on this their third
album for ACT records in their series "Young
German Jazz". German Jazz must be alive
and very well if this trio is anything to
go by and jazz generally has a great future
if young talent in the shape of musicians
such as these is around and active. EM’s music
is subtle, classical in shape and form and
delicate in the extreme. All the material
on the disc was written by the trio’s members
and all of it is strikingly original. It takes
true professionalism + talent to pull off
successful trios where the piano has to be
the anchor on its own but this band has both
          in spades. Highly recommended.
