Richard Galliano is the absolute master of the jazz accordion and his fantastic technique is amply displayed here. I suspect that some of the other musicians are Brazilian, because the music seems to me to mainly a fusion of French with Latin American. Such a combination leads to dazzling displays of virtuosity by all concerned, but unfortunately as with most fusion, it is the jazz content that suffers.

The musicianship is stunning however, particularly that of the leader and the violin player Alexis Cardenas.
