Ted Lewis was a star entertainer in the 20,s & 30's, he kept band of good jazz musicians working through good and bad times. Many I'm sure stayed with the band for that reason. The jazz content of this record is small and there is little to appeal to the jazz record collector, but equally, it will appeal to the lovers of pre nostalgia, there is that plenty.
