        Sunny Jain - Drums
This is a CD by four top grade professional musicians.
Sheryl Bailey is a product of Berklee College and Chris Bergson trained
at Oberlin College. They are well supported by Sunny Jain and Ashley
Turner on Bass and drums respectively. The technique and quality of
sound produced by both guitarists is excellent and it is obvious that
          they have played together regularly.
On this performance there is just one problem, too
much of it sounds as though it is intended to impress other musical
educators and musical intellectuals in general. These guys are all great
musicians. I think that if they were to produce an album of say the
tunes of Duke Ellington, with an instruction to everyone to forget the
musical perfection and just ‘swing like mad’, they would find themselves
in demand at jazz festivals all over the world, they have the ability
          and they deserve the success.
There is nothing wrong with this album, but the average
jazz person is going to find it hard to listen to and understand. Some
of the original compositions are interesting, but I would like to hear
them on a ‘mean and dirty blues’
