Chris
Bragg
The organist Chris Bragg was educated at the
Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where
he received a BMus with first class honours
as a student of Michael Harris, and the Conservatory
of Amsterdam, where he completed his Masters'
Degree as a student of Pieter van Dijk, with
a concert on the Van Hagerbeer/Schnitger organ
of the St Laurenskerk in Alkmaar. He also studied
harpsichord and clavichord. Chris has performed
solo concerts in many parts of the UK, and the
Netherlands as well as in Finland. He participated
in international organ academies in Sweden,
Italy, England and the Netherlands as well as
in many masterclasses, including with Jean Boyer,
Ludger Lohmann, Davitt Moroney, and Hans Davidsson.
He has also worked with instrumentalists and
choirs as an accompanist and continuo player.
Chris Bragg lives in the Netherlands where he
is currently studying church music at the Conservatory
of Utrecht, and working as 'tweede organist'
in the Bergkerk in Amersfoort.
