WARLOCK, Peter (Philip Heseltine)

d London, 17 December 1930, aged thirty-six
He studied first at Eton, then privately. In 1920 he founded the periodical The Sackbut. He wrote books about Gesualdo and about his friend Delius, many of whose orchestral works he arranged for the piano. He committed suicide by gassing himself.
