ROBERTSON, Leroy
b Fountain Green, Utah, 21 December 1896
d Salt Lake City, 25 July 1971, aged seventy-four
He was a pupil at the New England Conservatory, received his diploma in 1923, then studied in Europe. He received an MA from the University of Utah in 1932, and a PhD from the University of Southern California in 1954 He was professor and chairman of the music department of the Brigham Young University from 1925 to 1948, and held a similar post at the University of Utah from 1948 to 1962.
