JONES, Daniel Jenkyn

He began composing when still a child. He read English at Swansea University, and studied conducting, composition, viola and horn at the Royal Academy of Music from 1935 to 1938. A friend of Dylan Thomas, he wrote the music for a radio version of Under Milk Wood in 1954. He has gained many commissions and awards.
