IBERT, Jacques

d Paris, 5 February 1965, aged seventy-one
He trained at the Paris Conservatory, winning the Prix de Rome in 1919. He was the director of the French Academy in Rome from 1937 to 1955, then until 1957 was director of the Paris Opera and Opera-Comique.
