FERNEYHOUGH, Brian
b Coventry, 16 January 1943
He studied at the Birmingham School of Music and the Royal Academy in London. In 1968 he won a Mendelssohn Scholarship and worked at the Amsterdam Conservatory. From 1969 until 1971 he studied at Basle, and from 1973 worked and taught in Germany.
