Ludwig van BEETHOVEN (1770-1827) The Piano Concertos: The 78-rpm Recordings - Wilhelm Kempff (piano) rec. 1925/42 APR 6019 [75.34 + 77.38] [SG] Pianophiles will not fail to respond to Kempff’s persuasive accounts. This is, without doubt, a set to treasure.

Knut HĹKANSON (1887-1929) & Josef ERIKSSON (1872 -1957) Oss tonsättare emellan - Gabriel Suovanen (baritone) Solveig Wikman (piano) Klarakvartetten ALTFIOL I VÄST AIVCD007 [74:58] [GF] Anyone interested in composers standing to one side of the mainstream in Swedish 20th century music should derive a lot of pleasure from this disc.

Antonio VIVALDI (1678 - 1741) Sacred Music Vol. 4 - Aradia Ens/Kevin Mallon rec. 2014 NAXOS 8.573324 [59:48] [JV] This fourth instalment can hardly be considered a significant addition to the discography of Vivaldi's sacred music.
