Judith Bailey: Y-Gwynt clarinet and piano Op. 57

Y-Gwynt is Welsh for “wind”. The work was commissioned by Welsh painter the late John Elwyn for his 80^th birthday in 1997 and first performed in Brighton, Sussex. It has also been performed in Portsmouth by the Monington Duo (Rob Blanken and Karen Kingsley).
