The Tschaikov family
in London about 1905. My Father, aged
8 or 9, is sitting in the middle holding
the clarinet. His elder brother, Anton,
is standing behind with his violin.
The other members of the group are his
father and two of his sisters, one a
flautist, the other a cellist. Groups
like this, in traditional dress, were
very popular at the beginning of the
20th century
