The incomparable Judy. This comprehensive collection represents nearly thirty
years in her motion picture career beginning with the rousing "The Texas
Tornado" from 1936's Pigskin Parade and ending with her ultimate
semi-autobiographical performance in 1963's I Could Go On Singing.
It contains most of her famous film musical performances, along with a few
choice rarities, many of which have not been commercially available for years.
An interesting, rare inclusion is "Last Night When We Were Young", an outake
from In The Good Old Summertime (1949). The list of songs above is
testament enough to the value of this generously filled collection which
is beyond criticism for Judy has passed into legend. The accompanying 20
page booklet with excellent notes by Will Fiedwald (author of "Sinatra! The
Song Is You") and many pictures from Judy's films is a great bonus
