GODARD, Benjamin Louis Paul

d Cannes, 10 January 1895, aged forty-five
He entered the Paris Conservatory in 1863, and became a fine violinist; in 1887 he was made professor of the ensemble class. He was named Chevalier of the Legion d'honneur in 1889.
