CROSSE, Gordon
b Bury, Lancashire, 1 December 1937
He was educated at Oxford and the Accademia di St Cecilia, Rome. From 1964 to 1966 he was on the extra-mural staff of Birmingham University; he was a Haywood Fellow from 1966 to 1969, and a Gulbenkian Fellow of Essex University in 1969.
