The two later worked as partners and designed parterre gardens at Hampton Court, Chelsea Hospital, Longleat, Chatsworth and Castle Howard. Henry Wise was appointed as Royal Gardener to Queen Anne and George the First.
Wise bought and retired to The Priory in Warwick as a rich man (he had £200,000). He died in 1738.
