The second edition of 1587 was the one used as a source book by Shakespeare for his histories, and also by Christopher Marlowe.

Holinshed: Haile Makbeth thane of Cawder
Shakespeare: All hail, Macbeth, hail to thee, thane of Cawdor!
Third Witch
Holinshed: All haile Makbeth that heereafter shalt be king of Scotland.
Shakespeare All hail, Macbeth, thou shalt be king hereafter!
