| After 1870 Halliwell devoted himself to researching the life of Shakespeare and three of his books are supposed to be in the Charlecote Library although so far we have only found one. This is his Outlines of the life of Shakespeare which bears an inscription showing he presented it to Henry Spencer Lucy in 1882. Halliwell also helped establish the Shakespeare museum in Stratford. |
