Before actually embarking on the story I draw attention to a BBC production in three episodes called ‘In Search of Shakespeare’ by the English Historian Michel Wood. This covers the life of Shakespeare and includes Charlecote. It is so pertinent to my story that you might think I had based my story on it. In fact I did not discover it until after I had finished the talk!
