In the Summer, the Queen moved to Nonsuch palace a Tudor palace
built by Henry VIII at Nonsuch in Surrey near Epsom (it does not exist
now) and players frequently performed there between 1582 until Elizabeths
death in 1603. We cannot be sure but it seems reasonable that Shakespeare
would have been among them. Again we see how difficult it is to actually
get a handle on Shakespeare and his activities. |
