We are not permitted to open this book. This was published in 1668 although the Charlecote copy was published in 1877 which probably makes it one of the last additions to the library. It is regarded as one of the most significant works of English religious literature. It has never been out of print.
This is not a book I have ever read but it tells the struggle of Christian to get through the Slough of Despond and reach the Celestial city and then that of his wife’s similar struggle.
