This is the Title page to the 1675 edition.
Tanaquillus Faber (Latin Fabri) is often quoted as an authority simply
as Faber in notes to early editions ( including by Creech
himself in his 1714 translation) His real name was Tanneguy le Fèvre,
a French classical scholar. Dyonysius Lambinus was another French classicist,
Denis Lambin, who edited Lucretius in 1563. Obertus Gifanius was a professor
of Philosophy at the University of Strasburg. So some important people
worked on this book.
