We saw in 2016, Isis in Syria destroying the temple at Palmyra in the name of another religion. This is Greek statue of Athena from Palmyra before Isis got to her and you can see she has been reconstructed because the Christians had got there first in the fourth century. She was decapitated, her face was smashed, Her arm was broken and she had been knocked off her pedestal. The Romans knew her as Minerva. Isis have now got at her again with sledgehammars and power drills
